Directorate General of Informatics Application has three scopes: the National Movement of Digital Literacy, the Adoption Literacy of Digital Technology, and Pandu Digital (Digital Guide). The National Movement of Digital Literacy includes four pillars namely digital ethics, digital skill, digital society, and digital culture that are stated in Modules. The Indonesian government will target 50 million people that have digital proficiency. In 2021, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (MCI) held more than 20 thousand digital literacy training, with themes about Digital Lifestyle, Digital Economy, Digital Parenting, Digital Society, and Digital Governance.
The Adoption Literacy of Digital Technology is one of the literacy activities to improve human resources capacities in villages through the usage of digital technology. These activities have a goal to enhance the understanding of the village community in harnessing the technology on basic level literacy that is started from the digital skill topic to digital safety. It provided 1.000 infographics, graphic motions, animations, video graphics, and content competitions. In 2021, there were 100 offline and online training in 100 villages, 48 regencies, and 15 provinces. It contributed to 10.000 participants that have digital proficiency.
Digital Guide become a part of the National Movement of Digital Literacy that has a goal to accelerate facilitator/trainers in the society for the improvement of digital literacy in the era of Industry 4.0. It has Penta helix collaboration and can access at https://pandu.kominfo.go.id. It has three levels: Pandu Digital Purwa Level, Pandu Digital Madya Level, and Pandu Digital Utama Level.
